So over the past few days, I've been wandering out only to find some of my plants ripped out of the ground. Oh, and the leaves have all been chewed off of the snow on the mountain. :
I've already lost a hosta and two irises (irii?).
This morning, I open the door, only to catch a squirrel digging out another hosta. He runs to the tree, starts climbing, and when he's just out of reach, starts chattering wildly at me.
Don't give me any of that, you hosta-eating motherfucker.
Realizations
I had quite the interesting revelation yesterday. I've been reflecting a lot about how I am in relationships, how I express my appreciation for others, and what I contribute to relationships. Ever since Virginia, I've been fine saying that I'm not an easy person to be with. I know that and accept it.
I think the secret to a fulfilling relationship is to find another who can accept and embrace the things that I
can bring to a realtionship. There's nothing
wrong with the way I do replationships, it's just a situation where I do relationships in a very distinct and unique way that many people may not get.
