Some people...

So I'm sitting in ArtBar, and the Riverwest Pub Crawl is going on. There's this couple with a five or so year old here. She's running around, and Mom says, "Honey, this isn't a kid's place. Come sit down over here."

WTF?

So if it's not a kids' place, why'd you bring your kid?

5 Secrets to a Perfect Relationship

1. It is important that a woman helps you around the house and has a job.

2. It is important that a woman makes you laugh.

3. It is important to find a woman you can count on and doesn't lie to you.

4. It is important that a woman is good in bed and loves making love to you.

5. It is VERY important that these four women never meet.

Disconcerting

I know there's an airshow this weekend, but it's still disconcerting when the neighborhood gets buzzed by a couple dogfighting F-15s.

Are people this stupid?

In the wake of the London bombing, with no new news to report, it's shifting to commentary and analysis of the London bombing. Get this. Someone said that the reason it happened was because the world's spending an inordinate amount of resources on airport security, leaving other areas relatively unprotected.

Blink.

Blink.

And this is the first time anyone's noticed this since the formation of TSA? That's seemed completely obvious to me for years. Why is this news to everyone else?

So over the past few days, I've been wandering out only to find some of my plants ripped out of the ground. Oh, and the leaves have all been chewed off of the snow on the mountain. :
I've already lost a hosta and two irises (irii?).

This morning, I open the door, only to catch a squirrel digging out another hosta. He runs to the tree, starts climbing, and when he's just out of reach, starts chattering wildly at me.

Don't give me any of that, you hosta-eating motherfucker.
